Bio: Jan Müller is an award-winning film maker and visual artist who has worked and lived in New Zealand, Australia, and major European capitals. He is currently living in Poughkeepsie, NY, where he produces independent documentary films as well as television content for Spain's most viewed news program, E1 Intermedio.
Film Summary: Brock Schreiber, who spent his entire life on the Mohican reservation in Wisconsin, is the driving force behind efforts to revitalize the Mohican language. As Brock shares his story, it intertwines with others, a tapestry of parents raising their children in the Hudson Valley, once the heartland of Mohican civilization. The tale explores absence, recovery, and the collective human desire for identity in a mosaic of cultures.
